These terms and conditions govern your use of campingfreely.com and any associated services (the "Platform"). By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.
Camping Freely is a campsite discovery platform. We provide an interactive map of verified campsites across the UK and Ireland, along with tools for planning camping trips and a community system for sharing availability information.
We are a discovery platform — not a booking engine. We do not take bookings, handle reservations, or act as an intermediary between you and any campsite. Any arrangements you make with a campsite are entirely between you and that campsite.
While we take reasonable steps to verify the information on the Platform, we cannot guarantee that all information is accurate, complete or up to date. Campsite facilities, pricing, availability and policies can change. Always confirm details directly with a campsite before you travel.
To access full features of the Platform you must create an account and purchase a membership. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and purchase a membership.
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. You must not share your account with anyone else. If you suspect unauthorised access to your account, contact us immediately at hello@campingfreely.com.
A paid membership gives you full access to the Platform for the duration of your membership period. Membership is personal and non-transferable — it may not be shared, resold or transferred to another person.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you breach these terms, misuse the Platform, or engage in any behaviour that we reasonably consider harmful to other users or to the Platform.
Membership is priced at £24.99 per year (or €29.99 per year for users paying in euros). Prices are inclusive of any applicable VAT where required. We reserve the right to change pricing with reasonable notice to existing members.
Where you purchase a recurring membership, your payment method will be charged automatically on each renewal date. You will receive an email reminder before each renewal. You can cancel auto-renewal at any time from your account — your access will continue until the end of the period you have already paid for.
We offer a 14 day cooling off period from the date of purchase. If you are not satisfied within this period, contact us at hello@campingfreely.com and we will issue a full refund.
After 14 days, memberships are non-refundable. Full access to the Platform is granted immediately on purchase — by completing your purchase you acknowledge that the digital service has been delivered and you waive your right to a cooling off period beyond 14 days.
Refunds are not available for partial periods. If you cancel a recurring membership mid-year, you will retain access until the end of the current period but will not receive a refund for the unused portion.
We may issue coupon codes from time to time that provide discounted or free access. Coupon codes are personal, non-transferable and may only be used once unless otherwise stated. We reserve the right to cancel or invalidate coupon codes at any time.
Members can contribute to the Platform by submitting campsite availability reports, reviews and other community content. By submitting content you confirm that:
We reserve the right to remove any community content that we consider inaccurate, inappropriate or in breach of these terms, without notice.
By submitting content you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, display and distribute that content as part of the Platform.
You agree not to use the Platform to:
Breach of these conditions may result in immediate termination of your account without refund.
All content on the Platform — including but not limited to the map data, design, code, text and graphics — is owned by or licensed to Christopher Wilson trading as Stourva. You may not reproduce, distribute or create derivative works from Platform content without our prior written permission.
The Camping Freely name, branding and associated intellectual property are the property of Christopher Wilson trading as Stourva.
The Platform is provided on an "as is" basis. While we make every effort to ensure the information is accurate and the Platform is available, we cannot guarantee uninterrupted access or that all information is current and correct.
We are not responsible for any decisions you make based on information on the Platform, including decisions about where to stay, travel arrangements, or any costs you incur as a result of inaccurate campsite information.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you in connection with the Platform shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in membership fees in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
The Platform may contain links to third party websites or services — for example, links to campsite websites or mapping services. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy or privacy practices of any third party sites. Visiting third party sites is at your own risk.
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the Platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
If you are a consumer resident in Northern Ireland, Scotland or another jurisdiction, you may also have rights under the law of your own jurisdiction that these terms cannot override.
